Brian Van Holt was born on 6 July 1969 in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. He is an actor and director, known for Joe vs. Carole (2022), Den of Thieves (2018) and Cougar Town (2009).- A tall, lean, sometimes bearded actor with a career lasting more than forty years, David Clennon is also a very vocal political agitator. In 1967, during the most savage years of U.S. aggression against Vietnam, Clennon turned in his Selective Service System identification card (a federal felony) and joined the draft resistance movement. His anti-war, anti-draft activities are included in the book "Confronting the War Machine," by Michael Foley. Appearing in Sam Shepard's "The Unseen Hand" in 1970, he began to establish himself in off-Broadway theater. He also performed in several regional theatres, and on Broadway, in Chekov's "The Cherry Orchard" (1977). He began his film career as a background actor in "The Way We Were" (1973). His first speaking role was in "The Paper Chase" (also 1973).
As his career developed, he always tried to follow his moral and political convictions. He has turned down roles in films (e.g., "Just Cause," which promoted the death penalty) and television (e.g., Fox's "24," which promoted torture). In 2018, Clennon engaged in a campaign to alert Emmy voters to the half-truths, distortions and omissions in Ken Burns' PBS series "The Vietnam War," which is nominated for four Emmys. (It received none.) He has been arrested for civil disobedience, and he has clashed with the Hollywood establishment.
In spite of the prevalence of type-casting, David has managed to demonstrate considerable versatility. To every role that he plays, he tries to bring a sense of reality and a spark of humanity. He tends to be cast as educated, white-collar characters, but he occasionally breaks that mold with working class characters like Palmer in John Carpenter's "The Thing (1982)." He got his first film role in 1973 in "The Paper Chase" and followed up with Bound for Glory (1976), "Coming Home" (1978), and "Being There" (1979). In his movies, he has worked with Jack Lemmon, Sissy Spacek, Meryl Streep, and Susan Sarandon. He moved into TV in the drama "The Migrants" and, with several roles, in the classic comedy "Barney Miller. He is most famous for his role as Miles Dentrell on the acclaimed drama thirtysomething (1987).
David was a regular on the CBS series "The Agency" (2001) playing the computer and forgery expert Joshua Nankin. When he publicly criticized the show for its pro-CIA slant, and its propaganda supporting George Bush's invasion of Iraq, he was attacked by Sean Hannity (with actor James Woods piling on) and political consultant Dick Morris.
Clennon appeared in three films by the late Hal Ashby and four by Costa-Gavras. He lists among his favorite films (or roles) "Being There," "Coming Home," "Go Tell the Spartans," "Missing," "Sweet Dreams," "Dos Crimenes" (Mexico), "Silver City," (Mort Seymour) "Syriana" and, of course, "The Thing" (Palmer).
In 2019, Clennon refused to audition for the upcoming Netflix series "Hit and Run" because it is co-produced by an Israeli company and he chose not to work under the authority of what he calls "a racist, apartheid state." - Actor

The son of a saloon keeper, Jack Benny (born Benny Kubelsky) began to study the violin at the age six, and his "ineptness" at it, would later become his trademark (in reality, he was a very accomplished player). When given the opportunity to play in live theatre professionally, Benny quit school and joined vaudeville. In the same theatre that Benny was working with were the very young The Marx Brothers. Their mother, Minnie Marx, wanted Benny to go on the road with them. However, this plan was foiled by his parents who would not let their 17-year-old son on the road.
Having a successful vaudeville career, Benny also had a greater career on radio for "The Jack Benny Program". The show was one of the few successful radio programs that also became a successful television show.
Benny also starred in several movies, including The Hollywood Revue of 1929 (1929), Broadway Melody of 1936 (1935), The Horn Blows at Midnight (1945) and George Washington Slept Here (1942), although he had much greater success on radio and on TV than he did on the big screen.
He was good friends with Fred Allen, with whom he had a long-standing comic "feud".- Producer

Ray Bradbury was an American science fiction writer whose works were translated in more than 40 languages and sold millions of copies around the world. Although he created a world of new technical and intellectual ideas, he never obtained a driver's license and had never driven an automobile.
He was born Ray Douglas Bradbury on August 22, 1920, in Waukegan, Illinois. He was the third son in the family. His father, Leonard Spaulding Bradbury, was a telephone lineman and technician. His mother, Esther Marie Bradbury (nee Moberg), was a Swedish immigrant. His grandfather and great-grandfather were newspaper publishers. In 1934, his family settled in Los Angeles, California. There, young Bradbury often roller-skated through Hollywood, trying to spot celebrities. He attended Los Angeles High School, where he was involved in the drama club and planned to become an actor. He graduated from high school in 1938 and had no more formal education. Instead, he learned from reading works of such writers as Lev Tolstoy and Fyodor Dostoevsky, among others.
From 1938-1942, he was selling newspapers on the streets of Los Angeles, spending days in the local library and nights at the typewriter. At that time, he published his stories in fanzines. In 1941, he became a paid writer when the pulp magazine Science Stories published his short story, titled "Pendulum", and he was a full-time writer by the end of 1942. His first book - "Dark Carnival" - was a collection of stories published in 1947. That same year, he married Marguerite McClure (1922-2003), whom he met at a bookstore a year earlier. Maggie, as she was affectionately called, was the only woman Bradbury ever dated. They had four daughters and, eventually, eight grandchildren.
Ray Bradbury shot to international fame after publication of "The Martian Chronicles" (1950), a collection of short stories partially based on ideas from ancient Greek and Roman mythology. Then he followed the anti-Utopian writers Yevgeni Zamyatin and Aldous Huxley in his best-known work, "Fahrenheit 451" (1953). The film adaptation (Fahrenheit 451 (1966)) by director François Truffaut, starring Julie Christie, received several nominations. However, Bradbury was not happy with the television adaptation (The Martian Chronicles (1980), starring Rock Hudson) of his story "The Martian Chronicles". His other novels and stories also have been adapted to films and television, as well as for radio, theatre and comic books. Bradbury had written episodes for Alfred Hitchcock's television series, as well as for many other television productions. His total literary output is close to 600 short stories, more than 30 books and numerous poems and plays. He was writing daily.
In 2004, Bradbury received a National Medal of Arts. He was given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6644 Hollywood Boulevard. An asteroid was named in his honor, "9766 Bradbury", and the Apollo 15 astronauts named an impact crater on the moon "Dandelion Crater", after his novel, "Dandelion Wine". He also received the World Fantasy Award for Lifetime Achievement, the Grand Master Award from Science Fiction Writers of America, an Emmy Award for his work as a writer on "The Halloween Tree", and many other awards and honors. Ray Bradbury died on June 6, 2012, at the age of 91, in Los Angeles, California.- Actor

After military service during the First World War, Chandler studied at the University of Illinois, financing his studies by playing jazz violin in a band. During the early 1920's, he returned to the vaudeville circuit and began in films from 1928. Most of his early efforts were short one- and two-reel comedies, arguably his best being The Fatal Glass of Beer (1933) with W.C. Fields. While he mostly appeared in comedy and had countless bit parts, he later proved that he could handle meatier assignments, such as the simple-minded husband of Ginger Rogers, Amos, in Roxie Hart (1942). George was a protege of director William A. Wellman , who used him in twenty of his films.
On television, he made his mark as the jovial, well-remembered Uncle Petrie in Lassie (1954). He also had many good guest spots in other series, a particularly enjoyable one being the old man who sells a haunted Model A to dubious second-hand car dealer Jack Carson(with interesting results) in The Twilight Zone (1959) episode 'The Whole Truth' (1961). Prior to replacing Ronald Reagan as president of the Screen Actor's Guild, Chandler had been treasurer for twelve years (1948-60).- Judith Bess Jones was born on 3 November 1934 in Waukegan, Illinois, USA. She is an actress, known for Cool and Lam (1958), Tattletales (1974) and The Mike Douglas Show (1961). She was previously married to Martin Milner.
- One of Hollywood's staple child actors during the 30s and 40s, Mickey Kuhn played alongside many a top Hollywood star from Leslie Howard and Conrad Nagel's son to playing Dick Tracy's ward. Once he reached the "awkward teens" stage, however, he found himself primarily unemployed or in unbilled parts and looked elsewhere for career satisfaction.
Born Theodore Matthew Michael Kuhn, Jr. on September 21, 1932 in Waukegan, Illinois, he was the younger of two children born to Theodore Sr. and the former Pearl Hicks. The family moved to Hollywood during the Depression where his father found reliable work as a meat cutter. Mickey added to the family income at age 2 when, by chance, he was cast by Fox Studios for the movie Change of Heart (1934) starring the preeminent movie couple at the time, Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell. Attending kindergarten at the Mark-Ken School for professional children, he returned to films as a 5-year-old in A Doctor's Diary (1937) made by Paramount. His devoted mother oversaw and protected him throughout most of his young career. 1939 was a banner year for Mickey as it was for Hollywood itself, appearing as Crown Prince Augustin in the "A" picture Juarez (1939) starring Paul Muni and Bette Davis, and as Ashley Wilkes' son Beau in the Civil War classic Gone with the Wind (1939).
While he did not rise to moppet stardom, the boy proved quite dependable and a fast learner, and was actively involved in a few prestigious pictures during the 1940s, including One Foot in Heaven (1941), A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (1945) and Red River (1948). He particularly enjoyed horses and participating in such action fare as S.O.S. Tidal Wave (1939), _Roaring Rangers (1946) and Broken Arrow (1950).
His attention also turned to the stage as a teenager, performing at the Pasadena Playhouse and other Los Angeles-based theaters in between film shoots. Fewer roles came his way, however, and in 1951 he decided to enlist in the Navy. After a four-year term of duty, he returned to films and TV in 1955 but without much fanfare. He married around this time and had two children. Preferring a steadier source of income, he attended L.A. Valley College and Cal State Northridge on his G.I. Bill majoring in Theater Arts while holding an assortment of odd jobs.
In 1965 he was hired by American Airlines and subsequently served as a supervisor to flight attendants. He later became an administrative manager at a Boston airport. Divorced, he remarried in 1984 and retired from the airlines in 1995. More recently he has spent his time conducting historical tours around and about the city of Boston and has appeared at various film festivals. He received the Golden Boot Award for his work in westerns in 2005. - Actress

Since moving to Hollywood as teens in the mid-90s, Colin and his brother, Greg have charted a meteoric rise from self-taught artists working on local cable commercials in the suburbs of Chicago, to renowned visual effects gurus. Their careers began on the original run of The X-Files television show before working their way onto early CG-driven features, The Nutty Professor, Volcano, and the iceberg sequence of James Cameron's Titanic. Founding their own VFX house, Hydraulx in 2002, the brothers have worked on visionary sequences for over ninety feature films including Avatar, The Avengers, Skyfall, 300, Captain America, 2012, Iron Man 2, Battle: Los Angeles and The Day After Tomorrow. In 2000, Colin won a MTV Video Music Award for Best Art Direction for the Red Hot Chili Pepper's video, "Californication." This led to Greg and Colin stepping behind the camera the following year, crafting an instantly recognizable aesthetic on some of the decade's most imaginative music videos. - Otto Graham is an American professional football player who was a quarterback for the Cleveland Browns in the All-America Football Conference (AAFC) and National Football League (NFL). Graham is regarded by critics as one of the most dominant players of his era, having taken the Browns to league championship games every year between 1946 and 1955, winning seven of them. With Graham at quarterback, the Browns posted a record of 57 wins, 13 losses, and one tie, including a 9-3 win-loss record in the playoffs. While most of Graham's statistical records have been surpassed in the modern era, he still holds the NFL record for career average yards gained per pass attempt, with 8.63. He also holds the record for the highest career winning percentage for an NFL starting quarterback, at 0.810. Long-time New York Yankees owner George M. Steinbrenner III, a friend of Graham's, once called him "as great of a quarterback as there ever was."
Otto Graham grew up in Waukegan, Illinois, the son of music teachers. He entered Northwestern University in 1940 on a basketball scholarship, but football soon became his main sport. After a brief stint in the military at the end of World War II, Graham played for the Rochester Royals of the National Basketball League (NBL), winning the 1945-46 championship. Paul Brown, Cleveland's coach, signed Graham to play for the Browns, where he thrived. Graham's 1946 NBL and AAFC titles made him the first of only two people on to have won championships in two of the four major North American sports (the second was Gene Conley).
After he retired from playing football in 1955, Graham coached college teams in the College All-Star Game and became head football coach for the Coast Guard Bears at the United States Coast Guard Academy. After seven years there, he was hired as head coach of The Washington Redskins in 1966. Following three unsuccessful years with them, he resigned and returned to the Coast Guard Academy, where he served as athletic director until his retirement in 1984. Graham was elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1965. - Actor

Heather (an only child) was born in Waukegan, Illinois, USA to a single mother (Laura) 6 weeks before her 19th birthday. Shortly after, her mother moved back to Kenosha, Wisconsin, USA where she began raising Heather. Heather was born with a "trigger thumb" on her right hand and had to have surgery to correct it when she was one year old. Because of this surgery, Heather is left-handed when righting or eating, however, she is right-hand dominant when playing instruments or sports. At the age of 3, Heather discovered she could sing the music on the albums that were playing. Jethro Tull's "Aqualung" was the first album she learned all the lyrics to. It was at this time she decided she wanted to grow up to sing, dance and act. On her 5th birthday, Heather and her mother relocated to Green Bay, Wisconsin to be near Heather's maternal grandparents. Heather attended Helen Keller Elementary School until the 6th grade when they relocated to a country/suburb area of Suamico and Howard where she attended Bay View Middle School. Since Heather was a transfer from a school which had a well-known program for developmentally challenged children and the fact that she was extremely shy around strangers, Bay View Middle School officials assumed Heather was mentally slow and placed her in classes with their developmentally challenged students. When Heather turned in a 10-page research paper for her science class (a subject favorite) and her English teacher saw that she was already writing in cursive (something the slower classmates had not learned yet), the school officials had realized their mistake. However, because the school year was almost over they waited until the 7th grade to make the corrections. Mid-way through the 7th grade and again in the 8th grade, Heather was advanced in her English classes. But all was not wasted, since this is where Heather was introduced to music theory which proved to be instrumental for her future. In the 7th grade, Heather's Choir Director noticed her strong singing abilities and approached her to perform a solo for the schools spring concert, but because Heather was so shy and lacked confidence, she declined. Then, at the beginning of the 8th grade, auditions were held for the Swing Choir of which Heather became a member. The song the girls auditioned with was "Home" from the musical "The Wiz". The Choir Director was surprised to hear the normally shy and submissive Heather protest when her audition was cut off just before the climactic high notes of the song. When he obliged her, he was pleasantly surprised - yet again - to hear her angelic soprano voice ring out the notes with pitch precision. That spring, Heather was approached to enter the district's vocal Solo/Ensemble competition with a Class B song, which was considered an honor since first-timers were usually entered in the Class C category (such as was the case for her Trio entry). Her solo and trio were both awarded 1st (gold) medals. This success, coupled with her new knowledge of music theory inspired Heather to write her first three songs on homemade manuscript paper . . . without the use of a keyboard. Then she would bring the songs in to her Choir Director to play them for her so she could hear what they sounded like. This skill impressed her Choir Director so much that he spoke to her mother at the Parent-Teacher Conference and expressed Heather's great talent for writing music. The next Christmas, Heather was given a 64-key Casio keyboard from her mother to help her with songwriting. This was a gift Heather kept until she was in her mid-20s. Then 9th grade arrived and it was time for Bay Port High School. It was in her English class with Julie Robinson that her gift to read with emotion was discovered. Mrs. Robinson approached Heather to enter the district Forensics competition as a Solo-Actor. She was given a choice of two monologues, of which she chose the Glass Menagerie. Heather was clueless as to exactly what it was that she was being asked to do and did not rehearse adequately so she had to withdraw from the program. The next year, in 10th grade, she tried again but was still very shy about speaking in front of people. The end result was Heather having an anxiety attack and withdrawing the day of the competition. Her Junior and Senior years, Heather had much more confidence and success in completing her monologues at the Forensics competitions. Meanwhile, Heather was cleaning up on the vocal Solo/Ensemble awards each year earning 1sts on every solo, duet, trio, quartet, madrigal and vocal jazz ensemble. Her Sophmore year, Heather advanced to Class A material which qualifies you for the State competition if you are awarded a *1st. Heather's only year of achieving a solo *1st was her Junior year performance of "The Black Swan" from the opera "The Medium". Ironically, she was struck with a severe case of bronchitis for the district competition and couldn't hear a note she sang, yet she still was able to sing her way to the State level and earned another 1st (gold) medal for that performance. During the summer break before her Junior year, Heather attended Vocal Jazz camp and Choir camp at UW-Green Bay. She saw a notice regarding auditions for college scholarships to attend the university in the fall of 1989. She auditioned for each award and won both scholarships. Because of these awards to major in Music Performance, she took up playing the flute and joined the band and Marching Band for her Senior year. She was also entered the District Solo/Ensemble competition for flute and won awards for her Solo, Trio and Woodwind Ensemble and went on the band trip for an international contest in Toronto, Canada. During her high school years, Heather was also a crew member for high school productions of "Grease" and "A Funny Thing Happened on My Way to the Forum". She was a singer for "The Wiz" and cast as "Bessie" to act, sing and dance in "South Pacific" as was Dave Quimby, who pursued a professional acting career. When the lead for "Nellie" broke her leg during a softball game and the part went to a sophomore, Heather and the other Senior classmates were upset with the director's decision initially. However, Heather would've only had a month to learn the script and was happy to stay with the role of "Bessie". Heather's Senior year was also her attempts at the One-Act Play competition for which she was cast as the "Princess" for "The Happy Scarecrow". It was also during this time that Heather discovered her propensity for creative writing skills. She already knew she had a knack for writing songs. However, in her Junior year literature class, the class was given the assignment of writing a parody of whatever real item they wanted and to include their handwritten rough draft with their typed final draft. Since Heather's rough draft had only one minor spelling error, her teacher assumed she had plagiarized a professionally written parody. When he realized this was Heather's original work, he suggested she submit the parody to a number of magazines for publishing. She never did, but a few months later Weird Al Yankovic came out with a parody almost identical to that which SHE had written. The parody was of Michael Jackson's "Bad" and was called "Fat". She took her teacher's compliment to heart and signed up for the Creative Writing class her Senior year. Green Bay Community Theater: to quench her thirst for more acting experience, Heather was in the local production of "Equus" her Junior year in the roll or "Jill". Her Senior year, she was also cast as "Sophie Lawton / Triggs" in "Murder in Play". Her Freshman year at UWGB (1989-1990), she was a background singer and dancer as well as part of the crew for "Jesus Christ Superstar". Her Sophmore year she was the Assistant Stage Manager for "Wanted: Dead, Alive . . . or Maimed". Meanwhile, she auditioned for a number of plays at the Green Bay Community Theater but because she could 'cry on cue', became frustrated for being type-cast for roles that required this ability. Exasperated, Heather left the world of acting and, shortly after, changed from a double major in Music and Theater Performance to a double major in Psychology and Human Development with a minor in Applied Music. Even though Heather stopped pursuing her childhood dreams of acting and dancing, she still had the joy of music in her home (and heart) by playing flute, singing and writing new songs when the occasional music muse moved her. In the meantime, she continued on her quest for knowledge and earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in Counseling. In Fall of 2002, Heather relocated to Las Vegas, Nevada, USA where she attended school for a certificate in Massage Therapy and changed careers yet again. Now she has her own massage business for spiritual healing, which caters to A-list celebrities and other high-profile clients. She is also employed as a Massage Therapist on The Strip and spends her days off writing screenplays for films to help expand the collective consciousness of the world. Her latest works include a musical that is a comical love story called "Déjà Duet", which is based closely on events expected to happen in her love life. All songs included were composed by Heather as well. The other screenplay "Massage U." is a comical autobiography that addresses her path of spiritual enlightenment while on her path to becoming a Massage Therapist. Both were started and finished in 2008 with the hopes of having them in theaters around the nation by late 2009 to early 2010.- Make-Up Department
